FEBRUARY 06, 2006 -- Crocs plans to offer 9.9 million shares priced at $19 to $20 each, up from 9.0 million that would have been priced at $13-$15 a share previously. The company could raise about $193 million.


Global Brand Marketing, Inc. promoted Roelof de Leeuw to European GM for the new GMBI sales office in Amsterdam. He will oversee all sales, marketing, operational and logistical aspects of the office. He has worked with GMBI brands since '03 as SM of Pony, Nautica, and FunFlopps.


RAVE Sports, a producer of inflatable water recreation products, acquired R2 International, Inc. Headquartered in Eden Prairie, MN, R2 manufactures several inflatable recreational product lines, and specializes in paintball and soft pellet recreational shooting barriers. The prior owners of R2 International have joined the RAVE management group and will oversee the expansion of RAVE's mass retail distribution channels.


UBC upgraded Nike to a buy from neutral, saying margin pressure could be minimized by impending new products.


Quiksilver appointed Nick Adcock to president, DC Shoes, effectively immediately. Adcock will report directly to Bernard Mariette, president, Quiksilver and will be based at DC Shoes' global headquarters in Vista, CA. Adcock has been with DC Shoes for three years and previously served as Australian GM, in which he set up the company's first subsidiary operation. Ken Block, DC Shoes co-founder, is stepping own as president. Block will be assuming the new role of chief brand officer and will join EVP/co-founder Damon Way and Adcock to form the executive committee that will chart the future of DC Shoes.
